Easily enter any accented characters commonly used for European languages such as French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Scandinavian. Also other special characters - this small Windows software tool enables simple input of letters and symbols that may not appear on your normal keyboard. It will directly type into most other applications and also copies characters into the Windows clipboard. Only supports Western European languages with characters from the ANSI Latin-1 character set (full Unicode for other scripts is not supported by this version, but might be in the future). Extra Keys was originally developed as part of our Plant Base product but is now also offered as a stand-alone tool. The progam is self-contained, yet very small - only 64Kb for the exe file! It has no special dependencies or run-time requirements and is fully portable - for example can be run from a USB memory stick. An installation file is provided for convenience, but the program does not affect any Windows systems settings. Extra Keys is free to use, has no time limit, no nags and no ads.
