iSCSI is the hottest network storage protocol which eliminates the limit of SCSI in device number and connection distance. Client can access the storage resources at any position on the network as local disk. It can also be used to build SAN which integrates the legacy storage resources.
Microsoft has provided iSCSI initiator support,and iSCSI target is mostly implemented by hardware or under linux. This soft migrates linux iSCSI target to windows platform with friendly user interface.It has two mode:FILE_IO and MEMORY_IO. MEMORY_IO is for performance test while FILE_IO can be used to storage practically.
To use this software, you need to download the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator (it's free to download) or some linux initiators. Then run the Win iSCSI Target.exe. It can work well with the default setting or you can specify the capacity and the position of the disk file. MEMORY_IO mode is just for performance test, and the maximum capacity rests with you computer ram capacity.
