Are you looking for a great Diablo 3 demon hunter build? Out
of the dozens of possible builds only a handful are truly effective. Let's take a look at the builds that can really get the job done.

Rapid Death Rocketeer

The first build we will look at is the Rapid Death Rocketeer. This build takes Rapid Fire and Marked for Death, and adds in Ballistics rocket skills. When you use Mortal Enemy you get 3 hatred for every attack that you do. In addition to that Rapid Fire will shoot very quickly. The main way to play this build is to throw a Turret down, then Caltrops, get your hatred to max and use Rapid Fire until you are completely empty.

MultiPrep

With this build you use Preparation to build your hatred, and by using Multishot you can gain discipline. You simply use these two attacks until all your enemies are defeated. The remaining skills are all optional. Impale is good for doing damage to single targets. In addition to that you can use Bat to get an extra boost to your hatred, and finish that off with Valley to improve the damage on your Multishot.

Solo Inferno Build
You will need Preparation for Backup Plan, and Smoke Screen for Lingering Fog. These two skills will be needed because of the DPS and survivability they add to your character. When dealing with single targets you can use Devouring arrow. If you need to take out many monsters at once you can use Nether Tentacles for its crushing AoE damage. To deal with Elite mobs you can use Cluster Arrow most of the time. For tough single target mobs you can switch between Cluster Arrows and Hungering Arrow. Add in Bats for hatred regeneration and you have a solid demon hunter build for soloing Inferno.
