PCLTool SDK- Option III (PCL2PDF) Includes: PCLCodes, Img2PDF, Img2XPS, PCLXForm, ImgCvt, Filter, TNXDump and PCLTool and other valuable utilities. PCL2PDF is the only product that converts bitmap HP fonts into TrueType fonts to embed in the PDF's. PCLTool SDK - Option III (PCL2PDF) is ideal for those who need to convert legacy PCL print streams into a PDF, PDF/A or XPS file formats.

Unlike Option V, it does not allow for custom script programming to split or edit the documents in the PCL while transforming them into PDF, PDF/A or XPS formats. PCL2PDF can also extract text from virtually any PCL file - even ones with scrambled text or rasterized text (with 1-2 hrs. of OCR process). PCLTool SDK - Option III evolved from our first PCL2PDF program. It's actually PCLXForm using a standard conversion script. If you later find the need to customize the transformation process, like add logos, barcodes or OMR marks - you can always upgrade to Option V or Option I - if you find the need to write your own custom .exe.
